About the Accommodation The charming 3.5 room mountain holiday home "Obereichholzberg", nestled in forests and meadows above Weesen at an altitude of around 700 metres, offers an idyllic holiday experience for up to 4 people.
This rustic and stylishly furnished mountain chalet, which was originally built over 100 years ago as an alpine hut and has been continuously converted into a holiday home, combines seclusion with a pleasant level of comfort.
Despite its remote location, the house has modern amenities such as electricity, hot and cold water directly from its own well (without drinking water treatment), an integrated shower in the spacious kitchen, which can be partitioned off by a room divider, and a separate WC.
The house is heated exclusively with wood, for which there is a tiled stove with a stove bench in the living room, which is fuelled from the kitchen.
In addition, a petrol stove provides the initial heat.
We recommend bringing slippers and warm clothing for the colder seasons.
The bedroom on the upper floor is furnished with a double bed (160x200 cm), while the bedroom on the ground floor, which is directly adjacent to the living room, has two single beds (90x200 cm).
The tiled stove in the living room, together with an armchair and a dining table, invites you to spend cozy hours.
With no TV or internet, the house offers the perfect opportunity to escape from everyday life, although the good mobile phone reception allows you to set up your own hotspot if required.
The spacious kitchen is equipped with two gas hobs, a fridge and freezer as well as a Nespresso coffee machine.
A fondue set and raclette oven can be borrowed for cozy evenings, and various board games are also available.
A special highlight is the spacious outdoor area with a cozy garden terrace, seating area and two sun loungers, from where you can enjoy a magnificent view over the valley and the mountains.
The accommodation can be reached via a steep road that is not passable, so the car park (no snow removal in winter) is a 10-minute walk away.
The use of rucksacks is recommended for transporting luggage.
Dogs are welcome and smoking is permitted outdoors, making the "Obereichholzberg" holiday home an ideal retreat for nature lovers and those seeking relaxation.
Information on the Surrounding Area Around 300 metres above the valley floor, the cottage is the perfect hideaway for short and long stays, peaceful holidays and relaxing breaks.
The cozy retreat is located directly on the hiking trail between Ziegelbrücke and the mountain peaks of Federispitz or Speer.
